PIP vs Tensile Testing
In this webinar we'll discuss the differences between the 'gold standard' of mechanical testing, the tensile test, and the novel Profilometry based Indentation Plastometry (PIP testing) developed by Plastometrex. We'll explore the benefits and limitations of both types of test, and show how PIP can be used to measure properties which previously required a tensile test, such as the yield stress and ultimate tensile strength.
